Ripple Tanks

Write up your investigations using the ripple tank.  You need photos and explanations of the following:

• creating straight waves
• creating circular waves
• interference – what happens when two sets of waves meet
• reflection from straight and curved surfaces
• diffraction – both single and double slit diffraction

Try to apply as many of your observations as possible to sound – particularly interference between multiple sound sources or between direct and reflected sources.
