Resonance

If you’ve ever seen the video of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge collapse or seen a wine glass smashed just by sound then you’ve seen resonance in action already.  Stringed musical instruments all work on resonance, where the strings make the body of the instrument vibrate in order to make the instrument’s unique sound.
